AFTER the assassination…
A gunshop employee CLAIMED that Lee Oswald came into his shop.
Since we know the REAL OSwald was in Fort Worth,
“The Only possible explaination is that……”
It was a second Oswald. Someone hired by the conspiracy to impersonate Oswald and make him look guilty. Right?

(Record scratch rip sound effect!)

NO. It is one possible explanation. ONE of many.

A much simpler explanation is that…
The gunshop employee simply made the story up for attention.
IF you believe it is true that “The Conspiracy” faked the receipt for Oswalds purchase of the rifle
AND….
IF you believe it is true that “The Conspiracy” faked the backyard photos….
(and those backyard photos show a rifle with a scope already attached)
AND….
IF you believe it is true that “The Conspiracy” was planning to plant the Mannlicher Carcano in the Depository to frame that innocent angel Oswald….
Then it stands to reason that “The Conspiracy” KNEW that what the rifle was that they were going to frame Lee Oswald with, then they would surely knew this rifle already had a scope attached to it.
Why send a fake Oswald to WEAKEN their story?
It also stands to reason that that “The Conspiracy” knew Oswald couldnt drive and couldnt get to that gunshop.

This is my same response to anyone who brings up the car dealership story.
A car salesman said Oswald took a test drive and said to him “I don’t have money for a car now but I will have a lot of money in a few weeks.”
A fake Oswald, one sent in by “The Conspiracy” to frame him, wouldn’t want to make it seem like someone was going to give Oswald some money soon would they? Their supposed goal was to make it look like Oswald did this on his own, not make it sound like someone was paying him.

The real Oswald, IF he were part of a larger (secret) operation, also woundn’t say anything about getting paid for something soon would he?
If Oswald really was an innocent Pasty and NOT any part of any conspiracy, why would he say anything about “having a lot of money in a few weeks.” And the real Oswald had no way of getting to that dealership, nor could he drive a car to do this supposed test drive.

“But Didnt Ruth Paine give him some driving lessons?”
True. SOME lessons, but not enough for him to drive on his own. The records indicate he did not have a drivers license nor even a learners permit ( did they even have “learners permits” back then?)

And oh yeah, on Ruth Paine-
If you believe that Mrs Paine was part of the plot to frame Oswald ( I do not BUT…)
Wouldnt she tell her supposed bosses the dates and times when Owald was and wasn’t home- in order to frame him with more consistency and credibility?
Wouldnt she be the one to drive “Oswald” to the gun shop, the car dealership and hey- while we’re at it- why wouldnt she be the one to drive Oswald from Dallas to Irving to get the rifle? Wouldnt the conspirators have HER drive Oswald back to the depository instead of bringing an innocent outsider (Wesley Frazier) into the mix, who might somehow screw things up? Suppose Frazier called out sick that day or got a flat tire etc… what of their big plan then?

Come to think of it, why have Lee drive to Irving at all the day before the assassination?
Why not have Ruth or some other conspirator deliver the rifle to Lee and or someone else at the depository?

If I were in charge of the “The Conspiracy” I would have Ruth drive Oswald to work and do SOMETHING have some evidence of Oswald bringing in a package to the building. Drop him off where another member of “The Conspiracy” could take a picture of Lee or shoot some home movie film.
When the cops showed up at her house Ruth Paine she didnt know of a rifle in her house.
If I were in charge of the “The Conspiracy” I would have Ruth say “Yes Lee had a rifle- and heres a photo of him holding it, and heres the Walker letter while youre here”
None of that happened.
