A simple but effective way to get a nice shot of a couples toast glasses.
I shot the glass with a basic Canon Vixia G20, but it didn’t look quite right. I hit it with the light from my phone and it looked worse.
Then I put my phone light BEHIND it and it looked marvellous!
Last Friday I went to a “Breaking Benjamin” show. At one point the lead singer asked everyone in the arena to run on their cell phone lights, and then had all the house lights turned off. The only lights in the hall were thousands of cell lights. It looked really coll.

I was shooting a wedding and at the end the couple had to walk down a “gauntlet” of all the wedding guests and into their limo.
I stole the cell phone idea and had all the wedding guests shine their phone lights on the couple. I thought it looked really cool!

I travelled an hour from Austin through the scenic hill country down to the quaint Texas town of Marble Falls. Amazingly, this wedding fell on my birthday!

I usually make Austin Wedding Videos, but was happy to make a Marble Falls Wedding Video.
The pastor had known the bride as her youth pastor and was so happy to be the one conducting her wedding. The couple met at Texas Tech!
I shot it with a Canon T3I, Canon Vixia G20, A Canon R10, a GoPro on the floor, a Go Pro on a glide cam. I even used an iPhone as a sixth camera angle.
In addition to wedding videography, I also love to shoot Quinceañera’s! Just like a wedding but with more candy and less alcohol!
